“NMIFF Team and Veda students assembled for Filmi Chaupal "
A workshop for filmmaking was organized for the students of animation and visual effects on 6th August, 2013. Visual Animation and Design Academy, the most popular animation and multimedia college in the city of Pune hosted the team of Dhhunki Productions. They are organizing the first film festival for the people of Navi Mumbai. Navi Mumbai International Film Festival (NMIFF) will be a platform for talented filmmakers and technicians from the place. Filmmakers from all genres like live action, documentary, animation, advertisement and music video can take part in the event.

Nuke This festival is open to both students and professionals. The purpose of their visit was to create awareness about NMIFF, which is one of the most innovative and forward-looking festival in the country and also create a workshop for the students explaining the different processes and techniques involved in the art of filmmaking. The team of Dhhunki Productions was lead by Mr. Ashok and Captain Sachin Khanna, accompanied by their colleagues. They showed the students some of their work and explained the thought-process and the various processes that were involved to make them. They also shared much news about the film and visual effects industry and defined the skill sets that the students should be equipped with; to be part of it.

The students were obviously very excited and asked innumerable questions which the team members were more than happy to answer. They said that they were very happy to see such enthusiasm among the students of Visual Animation and Design Academy.

After the session, our HOD sir, Prof. Rishi Aacharya thanked the team for choosing Azam Campus for their amazing workshop and gave best wishes for the festival which is due to be held in December, 2013.
