P. A. Inamdar College of Visual Effects, Design & Arts is one of the leading college of higher education in the Maharashtra, India and in 2015 became an ISO 9001-2008 accredited institute. The college makes every attempt to synergies this into the education process with an efficient teaching staff that ensures academic excellence.
With the new Digital India initiative, we are contributing in making an Artistic India.
We are a ‘Knowledge Community’ which encourages partners, faculties, students, past students and parents to involve themselves fully in all aspects of college life and to identify themselves with its core values of Respect, Responsibility, Integrity, Cooperation and Achievement. Our college is large enough to provide a broad and differentiated curriculum that caters for varied interests and abilities in the area of Art, Animation, Design and Visual Effects.
I am justifiably proud of the fact that in a short span our college has grown from strength to strength. In addition to a steady increase in the number of students, we also have an ever-increasing number of subjects and courses at both the UG & PG levels. These are recognized by Universities and Autonomous bodies of repute.
Our degree program in Media Graphics & Animation (Graphics Design, Web Design, Animation & Visual Effects) is approved by the Universities Grants Commission (UGC). Our students pursue their interests and achieve their personal best. We are proud of our record and our success in helping students achieve their dream placements once they leave VEDA College.
The academic life at college is designed so as not to limit learning in classroom boundaries. Our students involve themselves in hosting our flagship programs like Akhil Bhartiya Kala Gaurav Samman, Pune Animation Film Mahotsav, annual cultural gathering “Kalotsav” and many more. These co-curricular activities allow our students to learn management skills, life skills, team building, cultural ethics, planning skills, and most importantly, leadership skills.

PRINCIPAL’S PROFILE
A Kalidas Awardee for excellence in Oratory at Kalidas Samaroh Ujjain, Dr. Rishi Aacharya is a living buckeye of leadership skills and multidimensional talent. He is a post-graduate in Information Technology (M.Sc) and a Bachelor of Media and Animation from BSP University, Lucknow. Dr. Rishi Aacharya is also a Certified Computer Professional by National Computer Science Academy, Texas (USA), a Google Certified Professional, Certified Professional from Autodesk London and a Certified Associate in Adobe applications. He is also a Microsoft Certified Professional and a renowned Digital Marketing Expert of our country.
Dr. Rishi Aacharya, apart from his extraordinary technical qualifications, has a keen interest in exploring inter-religious harmony. He is a very profound reader of all the major religious theories, including the Quran, Vedas, Guru Granth Sahib, Dhammapada and the Bible. He is also an acclaimed author and has published three books so far.
He is a firm believer in the concept of oneness and universal harmony. Dr. Rishi Aacharya has been Honoured as Citizen of the Year 2016 by the hands of the Hon’ble Mayor of Pune City for his extraordinary contribution to social service.
He is the man behind making the Guinness Book of World Records for India in the most extensive Clothes for Donation collection drive. His leadership also fetched a title in the Limca Book of World Records in the same year. Dr. Aacharya has donated his voice for Wikipedia voice naming project for personalities like Sachin Tendulkar, Lata Mangeshkar and more than 30 freedom fighters of India.
He is a versatile writer. His 3 books have been published by Notion Press Chennai and are available on all major E-Commerce platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, eBay and Shopclues.
He is a core member of the ICT Academy established in the MCE Society, which imparts IT education to more than 50,000 students from class I to XII every year in more than 15 cities and taluka places of Maharashtra. He is the brain behind India’s biggest online IT Olympiad for K-12 Schools. He has also been instrumental in conducting the Green Olympiad, which is now taken as an official program by Shri Prakash Javadekar Hon’ble Minister of HRD, Ex-Minister of Environment and Wildlife.
As an academician, he has dedicated his youth in the service of spreading IT Education throughout the country.
