1. Inaugural program and technical session (1.5 hrs)
2. Hands on – computer lab: do it yourself session (2 hrs)
3. Poster presentation (2 hrs)
4. Certificate and prize distribution (30 mins)
Participation in poster competition is mandatory.
Topic should read related to cloud computing.
Scope of posters can be purely informative/social relevance/innovative implementation/future of technology.
Poster space provided will be 1m x 1m area.

VEDA presents a seminar on “Annual Graphics and Animation Films Awards (AGAFA) 2014″ in association with Society for Animation in Delhi (SAID).
AGAFA is an annual award system to recognize excellence among animators, graphic designers and related artists’ community in India. The seminar will be conducted by president of SAID, Mr. Madan Pania and joint-secretary of SAID, Subhash Siddhu.
College of Visual Effects,Design & Art (VEDA) held a seminar at the Ness Wadia College of Commerce on Saturday, December 21. The seminar was held to introduce the students with the world of animation & visual effects and make them aware of the various scopes and job opportunities in this field. Shri Rishi Aacharya presided over the event in the presence of Vice Principal Shri S.D. Pandit. After felicitation, the students were shown an informative presentation about this domain. More than 100 students attended the event and many showed interest in it and wanted to learn more about this new vocabulary.
The famous independent filmmaker from UK, Laila Khan visited our VEDA campus during her recent tour of India. Laila, who has worked in blockbuster movies like Harry Porter and the prisoner of Azkaban, shared her knowledge about the art of film-making and what made her join this profession.
As part of a seminar, she showcased her latest short film “You and me” which dealt with the sensitive issue of gender dysphoria. She discussed the necessity of finding the issues that plague the society and finding an answer to them and also creating awareness about them through the creative medium.
